Colour-Rail has a large collection of railway images from around the world but also amongst the items that have come our way are fascinating scenes of living over the past 60 years which will be of interest to many, and both can be found here.

Because the non UK images are of interest to people around the world we decided that we needed to host these on a webpage which had different search facilities using key-words rather than our own database system, which in turn assists in finding us when using search engines, so you will find these images on the Media Storehouse site. Downloads and duplicate slides are not available there but very good quality prints of various sizes are. You will also see that the pricing structure is different.

The Colour-Rail range of non-UK railway images contains views from around 70 countries including Ireland, both North & South. Like our main website we will be adding to the selection on a regular basis. All forms of traction are featured with the earliest images dating from around 1950.

The social history pictures are from the UK as well as the rest of the world, everything from a local TV shop, various cars through to street scenes such as the superb images of Belfast in the early 50s. A number of scenes feature trams and trolleybuses as part of the overall picture.

Because the Non UK site is independent from the main Colour-Rail site unfortunately you will need to re-register there before you can make a purchase.
