Updated 15th June. 400 new views added. 1000 slides being deleted. Collections wanted.
Over 1000 slides will be deleted at 30th September. Those that are going are listed in Catalogue 20 which is available at £10, post free. Ron's dustbin list of previously withdrawn and secondhand slides is still available - send an e-mail or SAE to request your copy, This month's selection of new images were uploaded on 15th June and include black & white pictures of steam and diesel subjects from across the country along with more colour views of steam but also for modern traction fans there are many Warships and Class 66 views. There are also some very unusual views taken on the Southern Region and you will find these in the Miscellaneous section where you will also find thousands of other pictures of everyting from shed scenes to shunting signals. Our first book A Colour-Rail Journey, just £25, will be joined by a new title in October along with catalogue supplement 20A. If you want an image of a specific loco or location, and you can't find it, drop us a mail and we will check our files to see if we have something in the cupboard! We are always interested in expanding the collection. If you, or someone you know, has slides or black & white negatives that are literally gathering dust, and you would like to find them a good home, then please contact us. Collections are regularly being lost to deterioration or the bin man- save yours before it is too late.
